So, myk and i have been working on finishing our basement in full force lately, so you can imagine what our kids have been up to just running a muck upstairs. I had to share a funny thing that happened while we were downstairs working. First of all, talmage loves it because then he thinks he is the boss of elle because he is "watching" her. So he sends her to timeout if she doesn't obey him or whatever. But the other day, i heard her crying, so i asked talmage to come here and here is how the conversation went.....
ME: What happened talmage? Why is Elle crying?
Talmage: I hit Elle
Me: Why did you hit her?
Talmage: Well, I asked her, "Elle do you want me to hit you?" And she said YES, she should have SAID NO, but she said Yes!
What was i supposed to say to that? And of course i could not hide my laughing but after i composed myself, i of course had to explain how elle is little and doesn't understand!!
But i guess i couldn't get too mad at him because she did say YES!

I can understand exactly about kids running amuck while Mom and Dad are busy with a project--the story of our life! That is so funny!
Talmage cracks me up. It is so hard to keep a straight face when something funny like that happens.
That's too cute! I can't wait to one day have little kids of my own and have stories like that! your kids are darling!
that is hillarious. It is funny some of the things our little kids say.
I love kids for that reason. Their pure innocence!
